These communication channels, as well as the AlkaSpeakUp web form, are used to report suspicions of unethical and illegal activities by employees and managers at Alkaloid. You should be aware that the AlkaSpeakUp web form is not used to report ongoing employee problems, such as employee complaints regarding salaries, working hours, evaluations for successful performance of regular work tasks, gossip, etc. At the same time, you should be aware that knowingly reporting false information about an employee or manager at Alkaloid with the aim of causing harmful consequences for the person is not permitted. Such behavior will be treated in accordance with local regulations for the protection of whistleblowers and the internal acts of Alkaloid.
If you suspect a certain activity, even though you do not have all the data related to that activity or you do not have solid evidence for it, we encourage you to report it in good faith. The Corporate Compliance Committee initiates an investigation after each substantiated report, within which the necessary evidence will be provided, if any. Your reporting can minimize the potential negative impacts on Alkaloid. When you report in good faith, we will of course support you.
If you have a report that is closely related and involves a member of the Corporate Compliance Committee, he or she, in accordance with our procedures, is immediately excluded from the composition of the Committee that reviews and decides on that report.
When you submit a report, you receive a unique report identification number – a confirmation key. It is mandatory to save/remember your confirmation key so that you can access the AlkaSpeakUp web form again and complete your report.
By accessing the report status check box, you can receive information about the progress of the investigation of your report and ask additional questions. To join, you will need to enter the confirmation key, which is generated when you submit your report and which you should remember. Alkaloid is committed to promptly investigating all reports of unethical and illegal behavior. Once a report is submitted, the reaction and manner of investigation depend on the nature and seriousness of the potential irregularity. We assure you that all serious reports of unethical and illegal behavior will be properly investigated, however, due to the need to maintain the anonymity and confidentiality of all interested parties, you may not notice that it is taking place.

It is the basis for building trust in our company and in this way you protect yourself, your colleagues and the rights and interests of Alkaloid. The incident details you enter in the AlkaSpeakUp web form are only available to the Corporate Compliance Officer and the Corporate Compliance Committee appointed by the Board of Directors. The Corporate Compliance Officer and the Committee are obliged to ensure and protect the confidentiality of the data you share on the web form. The confidentiality of the data is one of the priorities and you can be sure that it will not reach the designated persons. Of course, there is always the possibility of anonymous reporting without revealing your identity.
No. You do not have to reveal your identity when reporting using the AlkaSpeakUp web form. No one will know that you are a reporter unless you voluntarily identify yourself when completing the form online. The information you provide will be treated as strictly confidential and privileged, to the extent permitted by law. However, if you choose to reveal your identity, it may help to conduct a more thorough and transparent investigation. The decision to reveal your identity remains yours.
If you choose the transparent application option, they will contact you according to the contacts provided during registration. If you choose anonymous application, you will be able to contact them through the application status check box. To join, you will need to enter the confirmation key, which is generated when you submit the application, and which you should remember.
When submitting your report, select the transparent report option and you will be asked for your name and contact details (e-mail). When reporting, please provide as many details as possible. We encourage you to identify yourself and participate in the process, i.e. to support Alkaloid's investigation of your report. Your personal data will be treated in accordance with the regulations for the protection of personal data. Alkaloid provides protection for your transparent report, i.e. you will not suffer any adverse consequences in terms of the rights and obligations of your employment relationship due to the report.
